The UPSC Mains 2025 results have been officially declared today, November 11, 2025, by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who appeared for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2025, held from 22 August to 31 August 2025, can now check their UPSC Mains 2025 result on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in
As per the official notification, a total of 2,736 candidates have successfully cleared the UPSC CSE Mains 2025 examination and are now eligible to appear for the UPSC Personality Test 2025 (Interview) stage. However, the results of three candidates have been kept on hold due to pending court cases.

UPSC CSE Mains 2025: Personality Test Shortlisting
Candidates who have been listed by roll number have qualified for the Personality Test 2025 (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services (Group A & B).
Mandatory Documents for Verification
Candidates must carry original certificates for verification during the UPSC Personality Test 2025:
- Age and educational qualifications
- Category/Community/EWS/PwBD status
- Other documents such as TA Form
- Certificates must correspond to the closing date of the Preliminary Exam application (21st February 2025)
Personality Test Schedule and E-Summon
- Dates of UPSC Personality Tests 2025 will be notified in due course at UPSC, Dholpur House, New Delhi.
- E-summon letters will be available online at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in.
- Candidates unable to download the e-summon should contact UPSC via phone, email (csm-upsc@nic.in), or post.
- No paper summon letters will be issued.
- Requests for date/time changes of interviews will not be entertained.
Updating Details in Online Application Form (OAF)
Candidates must update or verify details in OAF 2025:
- Educational qualifications, employment details, achievements, marital status, service allocations and socio-economic questionnaire
- Mandatory submission is required to generate the e-summon letter
- Candidates who already uploaded details must verify and submit again
- Update window: 13th November – 27th November 2025, 6:00 PM
- No other mode of update will be accepted
Service and Cadre Preferences
- Candidates must indicate preferences for services they wish to join (IAS/IPS included).
- IAS/IPS candidates must also indicate cadre preferences as per Commission instructions.
- No changes in preferences will be allowed after submission, except as permitted under the rules.
Attestation Form and Marksheets
- Qualified candidates must fill the Attestation Form online at cseplus.nic.in during the interview period.
- Any queries can be directed to DoPT via email or phone.
- Marksheets of candidates will be uploaded within 15 days of the final result and available for 30 days.
Withheld Results
- Results of three candidates (Roll Nos. 0231856, 3400441 & 6417903) are withheld due to pending court cases.
