The Odisha Civil services examination (CSE) is conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) every year for recruitment to Group A and B posts of various prestigious services such as Odisha Administrative Service, Odisha Police Service, Odisha Revenue Service, and others. PRELIMINARY EXAM

The nature of the OPSC CSE Preliminary exam is qualifying. Giving the OPSC Prelims exam is mandatory and candidates who cleared this exam get eligible to write the Main exam. The commission decides the qualifying marks for the Preliminary exam. However, the marks obtained in this exam will not be considered for the ranking. The Prelims exam has two papers and the mode of the questions will be MCQ. The entire duration of the Prelims exam is 4 hours; 2 hours are allocated for each paper.
